This study, completed in the Spring 2001, was aimed at gaining information on parental child abductors and is intended to aid in prevention. The abductor can either be the biological parent of the abducted child/ren or the spouse/romantic partner of the left-behind parent. The survey and demographic questionnaire were filled out by the left-behind parent. The children may have already been returned or could still be missing. Theresa Morris, Psy.D., a graduate of John F. Kennedy University, conducted this study. If you have any questions about the results of the study, you may contact the researcher via e-mail at PAbductResearch@AOL.com or direct them to the dissertation chair, Dr. Tatman at statman@jfku.edu.
